Annual Events

Whether you want to be downtown for jazz weekend or your wife drags you to the Quilt Fair, everyone will enjoy the diverse range of events in Asheville. Here are a few of the most popular annual traditions:

The Grove Park Inn & Spa hosts a number of annual events, including a big band swing dance weekend, all that jazz weekend and classic comedy weekend. The inn also holds the annual gingerbread house display.

Biltmore also offers many annual events, including Festival of the Flowers, a harvest celebration, Christmas celebrations and A Dickens Christmas in the Village.

For downtown Asheville events, there is the continual River District Artists Studio Stroll, Shindig on the Green, Spring Herb Festival, Fourth of July celebrations, Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands, Bele Chere Festival, Laugh Your Asheville Off Comedy Festival, Mountain Dance & Folk Festival, Antique Fair, Arts & Crafts Fair, Goombay Festival, Brewgrass Festival, Bonsai Expo and Film Festival.
